Physiotherapist in Frailty/Medical and Unscheduled care,

Aberdeen Royal Infirmary

Band 6 Permanent post

Hours: 37hours per week

We are seeking to appoint 2 passionate, person centered and highly motivated clinicians to be part of the Physiotherapy service in the frailty and Medicine and Unscheduled Care Portfolio.

The successful applicants will be joining a well-established, successful and friendly team. We are looking for individuals who is highly motivated and flexible in their approach, and are able to demonstrate clinical competence in the assessment and management of patients presenting on the medical/frailty pathways.

The successful candidate will be motivated, hardworking and willing to work in a fast paced and varied environment. They will work with a diverse range of patients with various and at times multiple complex co-morbidities and will work across a variety of wards. They will help facilitate early discharges, working as a core member of the MDT, applying the home first principles.

This post holder will be part of a newly developing service which will be providing service to this patient group over 7 days a week.

They will be a core part of our new weekend service at commencement of this post as NHS Grampian’s Physiotherapy team is proactively working towards services over 7 days.
