Are you a support worker who has a passion for supporting patients through their rehabilitation journey. Do you have experience working within Occupational and/or Physiotherapy services in a care setting? If so, then we have the post for you!
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an AHP support worker to join the Major Trauma Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams. The East of Scotland Major Trauma Service is a multidisciplinary team with a strong focus on high quality, integrated working, aiming to provide the best patient experience possible using evidence based practice.
You will work flexibly with both the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Teams across the major trauma service. The role will be based across both Hospital and Tayside wide community settings. You will be allocated a delegated patient caseload. Working within agreed assessment and treatment plans you will assess patients care needs; modifying existing treatment plans; progress/regress rehabilitation and reassess/discharge within the agreed scope of practice.
The role will involve participation in service development activities. You will also undertake administrative and housekeeping duties as required within the role.
AHPs are moving to 7 day working and this post will require some weekend working in line with the evidence base and strategic direction of NHS Tayside.
