The Haematology Department currently has a vacancy for a Biomedical Support Worker to work 37.5 hrs/week.

Mon-Fri 9am-5pm with a 11.15-7.30pm shift on a rota basis and weekend shifts 9.45am-2pm on a rota basis.

This is a busy Department and the successful applicants should be able to work under pressure and have good communication skills.

The main duties are to assist the Biomedical Scientist staff in the area of sample reception, sample preparation, automated systems management and stock management.
