Position:

This post is open to current Nursing and Midwifery or AHP students and HNC (Health and Social Care) or SWAP students studying a health related subject - please note the course you are currently studying must include clinical placements in a healthcare setting. Applications will be considered from students studying at Ayrshire colleges, UWS, University of Glasgow, Glasgow Caledonian University, Stirling University, Edinburgh Napier, Queen Margaret, Robert Gordon and Open University. Please do not apply if you do not meet the criteria above, as your application will not be considered.


Students who do not have previous experience of working in a healthcare setting in a Health Care Worker Role will not be able to commence in post until after you have completed a clinical placement as part of your course. This will be discussed and agreed on appointment.


What you will do:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the staff bank at NHS Ayrshire and Arran. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team are highly desired qualities for this post.
