The Scottish Ambulance Service plays a vital role on the frontline of NHS Scotland, delivering immediate medical assistance and clinical advice to over five million people across the country. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vaccination Service Manager to lead and manage the Scottish Ambulance Service Vaccination Programme. This service delivers a broad range of vaccinations to communities across Scotland, with a particular focus on improving access in remote, rural, and underserved areas. The role is pivotal in addressing health inequalities and enhancing public health outcomes.

This post sits within the Clinical Quality & Professional Development Directorate, under the Infection Prevention & Control Service, and reports directly to the Head of Infection Prevention and Control.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual with strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. The successful candidate must:

  • Be a Registered Health Care Professional
  • Have demonstrable experience in vaccination service management
  • Be innovative and solution-focused in their approach
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence with C1 or D1 category
