Dundee Enhanced Care at Home Team
Community Health Care Support Worker, Band 3
(2 Full time posts – part time hours considered)
FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 12 MONTHS
As a result of maternity leave and staff development, Dundee Enhanced Care at Home Team has an exciting and unique opportunity for dedicated healthcare assistants who have a passion for working with older people and preferably experience with community nursing to join our team.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent nursing skills, communication teamwork and organisational skills and a genuine desire to work with older frail people in their own homes.
This is an opportunity to become part of an innovative multidisciplinary team, who provide high standards of therapeutic care for elderly patients within their home environment, supporting independence and quality of life.
Posts are initially offered on a fixed term/secondment basis, with the possibility of permanent posts in the future.
The successful candidate will be required to complete mandatory induction standards for Health care support workers in Scotland, and ensure compliance with the code of conduct, ensuring participation of personal development whilst in continual service.

Hours of work are 37 hours per week, with part-time hours considered.
Current NHS Tayside Employees - Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.
