NHS Fife’s Community Immunisation Service is delighted to be able to recruit to a 9 month fixed term registered nurse post. You will administer all immunisations to the population of Fife. The Community Immunisation Service undertakes administering immunisations to pre-school infants, primary school children, high school pupils and adults. As an immunisation staff nurse you will be required to work across Fife in a variety of community environments..
You should be a first level registered nurse; experience within the community setting would be beneficial though not essential as full training will be given.
You will be an autonomous practitioner, able to integrate and work competently within a skill mix team. You should be committed to your own professional development and be ready to undertake specific training pertinent to this role. In return, you will be supported and guided through induction and education programmes to meet all competencies required to work within this field of nursing.
