Job Title: Bank Administrator – Visit Programme (Event Support)
Location: NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHSGG&C)

About the Role
We are seeking a flexible and well-organised Bank Administrator to provide vital support to our Visit Programme, working under the supervision of the Deputy Director of Communications. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth planning and delivery of high-profile visits and events across NHSGG&C.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in Communications, Corporate Services, the Office of the Chief Executive, the Chair and Board Members, as well as clinical service teams, to help devise and deliver effective visit programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the coordination and administration of the NHSGG&C Visit Programme.

  • Diary scheduling and planning in collaboration with senior colleagues.

  • Liaison with Communications, Corporate Services, CEO, Chair, Board Members and clinical services to agree programme content and logistics.

  • Preparing programme briefings and event documentation.

  • Carrying out pre-event site visits to ensure arrangements are in place.

  • Providing general administrative support before, during and after visits.

About You
We are looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

  • Able to communicate confidently and appropriately with senior stakeholders.

  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to prioritise competing tasks.

  • Proactive and willing to take initiative, while also working under supervision.

  • Experienced in administration, ideally with some exposure to event coordination or diary management.
