We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic applicants for a permanent Band 3 Occupational Therapy Senior Healthcare Support Workers based at the Royal Northern Infirmary working within the community, ward, and integrated team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within an established and passionate team of Occupational Therapists and Assistant Practitioners in a community-based setting. The successful candidate will deliver individual functional activity and assessments, as well as deliver a programme of therapeutic interventions as delegated by registered OT staff / OT assistant practitioners to help maximise client function and independence.

You will be working jointly with OTs and OTAP as well as carried out visits autonomously and providing feedback to the clinicians. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside other professionals within the integrated team such as District Nurses, Social Workers, and Physiotherapists.

Regular supervision is provided (including peer supervision opportunities) and opportunities for on-going professional development are encouraged.

You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations and patient residences, so a full current driving license and business insurance is essential. Unfortunately, application without a driving licence will not be considered for interview.
