Biomedical Support Worker level 3 (Band 3)

1 x Full Time permanent post 37 hours per week

Post based at Western General Hospital


Salary – Band 3 - £28,011 to £30,203 pro rota


Applications are invited from individuals with an interest in working in a hospital laboratory environment. Candidates should have an enthusiastic and flexible attitude to work. Candidates should be Educated to SCQF level 7 e.g. HNC; SVQ 3; Personal Development Award; Modern Apprenticeship; IBMS Certificate of Achievement Part 1

The successful candidate will be required to perform a range of laboratory duties in support of the delivery of the clinical services. It is essential that the successful candidate has proven knowledge and application of IT skills. The duties will include equipment maintenance, stock control, general housekeeping, and general manual handling tasks. Knowledge of Human Anatomy would be desirable.

This post is permanent at 37hrs per week MON-THRS 0830-1700, & FRI 0830-1630.
