We are delighted to be recruiting to Ward 62 Glasgow Royal Infirmary for a Health Care Support Worker.

An interest in Orthopaedics would be beneficial. We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate whose motivation to provide caring, high quality and safe nursing care comes as second nature. Putting our patients at the heart of what you do, you will support our registered nurses to deliver all aspects of care such as the completion of assessments for mobility, nutrition, dependency and skin viability, and contribute to nursing care plans, along with providing all personal care and undertaking observations etc. The successful candidate will work well within a team, be enthusiastic, flexible and have a compassionate approach

We are committed to enhancing person-centred patient care, and to support you in your role, full training will be provided as part of a competency-based programme. Healthcare support workers make a significant and positive contribution to the overall wellbeing of patients and are an essential and valued part of our nursing teams. The successful candidate will be expected to work a flexible pattern which can include days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
