The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Sunday.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Speech and Language Therapy Adult team in GG+C to provide a Speech and Language Therapy service, predominantly within the Institute of Neurosciences at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The post is full time at Band 7 (37 hrs).

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate independent, well established, high level skills in acute management and rehabilitation of neurological conditions. This includes input to acute Neurology and Neurosurgery wards, Neuro Critical Care, Neuro Rehab Unit and Spinal Injuries Unit.

Independence in complex tracheostomy management is essential to the role.

You may be asked to work in other areas of the service as required. The post is 5 days over 6 with a rota for weekend working.

The Adult Acute Services Division is committed to offering all staff the opportunity to develop clinical skills with a varied caseload, and also offer appraisal, supervision and opportunities for Continuing Professional Development. It is essential you have a Degree in Speech and Language Therapy with current HCPC registration.
