The shift pattern for this post is 9am-5pm.

This is an opportunity for a full time Band 3 Health Care Assistant to join the Community Mental Health Team at the Stewart Centre.
The Team has a supportive structure with clinical supervision and training provided.
The role requires the applicant to work as part of the multidisciplinary team, participate as a co-worker for people experiencing mental health difficulties. The role provides support to registered staff and other members of the team assisting and where appropriate facilitating therapeutic interventions with patients. Working with patients on 1:1 basis in the community. These activities are unsupervised and there is a requirement to use initiatives to deal with situations or issues that may arise. There will be an expectation where the health care assistant supports trained staff in the facilitation of physical health clinics where they will be expected to obtain bloods on a regular basis.
The hours will be Monday to Friday 9am- 5pm. Experience of working within health or social care would be essential and having a current driving license is preferred.
