An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist interested in working within the Inverclyde HSCP area. We have up to 1.0wte available, although part time would be considered for the right candidate. Workload will span universal and targeted levels, as well as providing an individualised service to a designated caseload of children and young people with the full range of speech, language and communication needs.

Successful candidate would be working in a range of community locations eg homes, educations and clinics with a variety of partners in alignment with person centred care and Realistic Medicine principles. An interest in neurodevelopmental conditions and/or eating drinking and swallowing would be desirable.

We are a small, supportive team offering both formal and informal opportunities for growth and development. We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified practitioners. Support can be offered to complete the RCSLT NQP Competencies Framework as required. Clinical supervision, caseload/workload management and team lead support are provided. Internal and external CPD opportunities are available for staff to develop their knowledge, skills and experience.
It is essential that you have a Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and have current registration with the HCPC.
This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme. Car driver essential.
