Band 2 £25,694 - £27,900 per annum
Plus £1,406 Distant Islands Allowance per annum
37 Hours per Week

The Hospital Porter will work as part of the portering section within the Estates Department in the Western Isles Hospital, this post will include day and night shifts. You provide relief cover for the hospital receptionists and assist Maintenance Craftworkers as and when required.
You will provide general portering services in support of clinical services to the Western Isles NHS Board in Lewis and Harris. The majority of these services will be provided to staff and departments at the Western Isles Hospital, however work flexibility to assist the Works and Estates Department may be required across the whole of the Board’s Estate.
You must have good awareness of Health & Safety at Work Regulations, waste management regulations and ability work without supervision.
