A career opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced Social Care Worker at Seaforth House Care Home in Golspie.
This post holder will be responsible for leading the shift, administration of medication and supporting and guiding other care staff to meet the needs of the residents. You will undertake a key working role within the service so should have knowledge and experience of Support Planning and the reviewing process and Risk Assessing in relation to older people.
The post holder will adopt a person centred approach to deliver a high standard of flexible and responsive care to service users within the care home and will provide support and assistance to service users to enable them to remain as independent as possible promoting their own abilities, independence and skills.
Previous experience in a social care setting is essential and ideally you will hold an SVQ 3 in Social care or as a minimum hold SVQ 2 with a willingness to achieve an SVQ 3 in Social Care to enable registration with the SSSC as a Practitioner in a Care Home Service for Adults.
This is a permanent part-time post of 29.5 hours working as per service requirements.
