We’re Looking For We are seeking an individual with a strong interest in acute mental health care, with the ability to work effectively in a team, manage risk in a high-pressure environment, and support patients through their recovery journey.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building trust with patients, families, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to patients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring dignity and respect. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in line with best practices and individualised recovery pathways.
Monitor mental and physical health and respond proactively to any changes in condition or risk.
Work collaboratively with community teams to ensure seamless transitions between inpatient and outpatient care.
Offer education and support to families, colleagues and carers, ensuring they feel informed and involved in the care process.
Participate in clinical audits, continuing professional development, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
