Job Advert
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a health care support worker to join our team within the Acute Medicine Unit (AMU) at Raigmore Hospital.
We are looking for a motivated, caring, and compassionate person who can work well under pressure, who is experienced, or looking to gain experience within an acute hospital environment.
AMU covers the acute assessment unit, medical high dependency, and ambulatory emergency care. Ward GA admits acutely unwell people from the community and A&E. It is a fast paced and busy environment, and a very interesting place to work.
The successful candidate should be able to work well within a large and diverse multidisciplinary team, have enthusiasm to work, learn, and develop themselves and colleagues. We would also expect any candidates to have excellent core values and a strong sense of team spirit; a sense of humour is also recommended!
This is a band 3 post, however we would encourage applicants who do not have the necessary experience to apply, and we can discuss at interview how we can achieve the skills needed for this role.
For any informal enquiries please contact Senior Nurse Pam Hodgson, or Senior Charge Nurses Vicky Jamieson & Jillian Campbell, Tel: 01463 704000 ext 6723
