Permanent and Fixed Term
With effect from 01 April 2026, NHS Scotland is reducing its full time working week from 37 to 36 hours per week, there will be no change in full time pay.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified, experienced dental nurses to join the Dental Nurse team within Dundee Dental Hospital & School. The post holder will be expected to work throughout the site covering a variety of specialities – including Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Restorative Dentistry, Orthodontics, Paediatric Dentistry and OMFU services. There may also be a requirement to provide dental nursing support for the service within Broxden Dental Care Centre. This post provides an opportunity to develop specialist nursing knowledge and skills.
You will work within a clinical team that values patient safety and the delivery of safe, effective, high quality care within a challenging environment. You should have the ability to work within a large diverse team, be committed to delivering high standards of care.
You should have evidence of continuing personal development and demonstrate excellent communication skills along with a commitment to influencing change and improving standards of patient care.
You must possess a recognisable Dental Nurse qualification and be registered with the UK General Dental Council.
Current NHS Tayside Employee’s - Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.
