Job Advert

Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking a new District Nurse Team Leader for a vacancy that has arisen in our North Bridge of Don Team. You must be an experienced District Nurse specialist practitioner with proven transformational leadership skills and bucket loads of enthusiasm.

Our community nursing teams are based in the three localities in Aberdeen City, and the team leader is required to provide leadership, support and clinical guidance to their team(s), ensuring that patients in the locality receive excellent standards of evidence based nursing care. You will work closely with the nursing leadership team to influence organisational decision making, and may be asked to take responsibility for specific projects for the whole city (examples include dementia, vacancy coordination, clinical equipment, manual handling, New Graduate Nurses, Rewards & Recognition etc).

As well as developing your own leadership skills, you will work collaboratively with your team and with the wider integrated locality teams, to ensure that colleagues have opportunities to learn, develop and lead in their own areas of interest and expertise. Change management and quality improvement skills would be an asset, as well as the ability to access and interpret data to influence the allocation of resources.

This is a full-time role, however if you wish to be considered for part-time hours or a job share, please note this clearly on your application. If you are an experienced DN looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.

The date of the interview will be Monday 4th May. Interviews will be in person.
