Clinical Teaching Fellow (ST Equivalent)

NHS Tayside – Directorate of Medical Education

40 hours per week

Salary: £47,438.00 to £74,591.00 per annum


NHS Tayside is pleased to invite applications for Clinical Teaching Fellow (ST-equivalent) posts within Medical, Surgical and Healthcare Improvement specialties (to be confirmed). These full-time, fixed-term positions (40 hours per week) offer a balanced and well-supported combination of undergraduate medical education and supervised clinical practice.

Clinical Teaching Fellows play a central role in the delivery and development of the Dundee MBChB and ScotGEM undergraduate curricula. Postholders contribute to teaching, assessment, and broader Directorate of Medical Education activity while undertaking a funded Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (PGCertMedEd) at the University of Dundee.

To be considered applicants must have achieved their UK foundation competencies and be fully registered with the GMC with a license to practice in addition to the other essential criteria detailed in the person specification.
