Appointment for Training (LAT) in Dermatology / Clinical Fellow in Dermatology
Duration: 6 months (Full Time)
Start dates:
- Post 1: February 2026 – August 2026
- Post 2: March 2026 – August 2026
Base: Ninewells Hospital (with some peripheral clinic cover during the week)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated clinician to join our Dermatology team for a full-time 6-month post. The position will be predominantly based at Ninewells Hospital, with potential peripheral clinic commitments during the working week.
This is a ten-session post and will include:
- General Dermatology outpatient clinics
- Skin surgery (dependent on clinician experience)
- Participation in the Dermatology on-call rota
The timetable is flexible and will be subject to discussion and negotiation.
Eligibility
- The post is suitable for clinicians with or without prior Dermatology experience, although previous experience in Dermatology is desirable.
- Applicants must be GMC registered.
- Full MRCP is mandatory for appointment to the LAT in Dermatology.
- Applicants without MRCP will be considered for appointment as a Clinical Fellow in Dermatology.
This post offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a supportive Dermatology department with exposure to a broad range of clinical activity.
