About Us
At Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, our Patient Coordination Centre plays a vital role in supporting safe, efficient and timely patient care across Scotland. Working closely with NHS Boards, Independent Sector partners and Elective Centres, we coordinate the patient journey from referral through to treatment, ensuring national waiting time guarantees and clinical pathways are delivered smoothly and professionally.

About the Role
We are looking for a Patient Coordination Centre Waiting List Coordinator/Team Leader to join our existing PCC team.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate all administrative activities relating to patient referrals from NHS Boards, Independent Sector sites and Elective Centres across Scotland.
- Schedule all patient hospital appointments and admissions.
- Coordinate pre operative assessment clinics, ward admissions, theatre procedures and diagnostic/interventional cardiology appointments.
- Ensure patient pathways run efficiently while maintaining accurate records across multiple clinical systems.
- Work closely with clinical teams, managers and other PCC colleagues to support the timely delivery of the Treatment Time Guarantee and national waiting time standards.
This is a varied, fast paced role that directly impacts the patient experience and plays a key part in supporting national access targets.
The role operates on a 5 over 7 shift pattern (Sunday to Sunday), with shifts between 08:00–16:00, 09:00–17:00 and 10:00–18:00.
About You
You will bring a strong blend of accuracy, communication skill and patient focused professionalism to this role. Essential criteria include the ability to communicate confidently with a strong customer care approach, stay organised and accurate under pressure, handle sensitive information with tact, discretion and an understanding of Data Protection requirements, work effectively within a healthcare environment, remain flexible to service needs, and use Microsoft Office confidently with good numeracy, literacy and typing skills.
