This integrated role presents an exciting opportunity to join the Finance management team of GCHSCP. The role will be responsible for the coordination of the preparation of annual estimates, annual accounts and financial performance reporting to partner bodies within Glasgow City HSCP and leading on the IJB Property Strategy.

Shift pattern - Monday - Friday 9-5

This will be achieved by providing expertise and advice on essential financial management information, including strategic, operational finance and governance matters to the senior management team in a time critical manner. As Head of Finance, you will investigate and advise on highly complex issues and lead on corporate reporting/providing strategic financial and business planning advice. The role is critical in initiating and developing clear outcomes for the business-critical issues facing the HSCP including the development of business cases service redesign and financial risk management.

The successful candidate will have a degree in a finance related subject (or equivalent) and be a member of the CCAB, CIMA (or overseas equivalent). It will be advantageous if you also hold a management qualification and have experience of working at a senior level in a political environment within health service and/or local authority.
