Permanent posts are available within our Continuity of Carer teams covering the Buckie, Keith, and Speyside areas. Full‑time and part‑time hours are available, offering an exciting opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced midwives who are keen to practice midwife‑led care.

You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team caring for women and families with diverse health and social care needs, and you will work in partnership with a range of health and social care agencies. Newly graduated midwives will be supported through a structured development programme and preceptorship.

Moray Council are offering temporary accommodation for key workers moving to Moray to support recruitment in the public sector, including NHS roles. This opportunity is designed to help individuals who are unable to secure housing locally while starting their new job.

Applicants must be filling a public sector role such as NHS healthcare professionals eg Consultants, Nurses, Physiotherapists where local skills shortages exist.

You must be moving to Moray from outside the area and must be willing to accept a Short Scottish Secure Tenancy (SSST), which is a temporary housing arrangement.

Key worker points will be awarded based on employer confirmation of recruitment need, and housing will be provided for a minimum of six months, with the possibility of extension up to 12 months. This accommodation option allows applicants time to secure permanent housing while addressing local recruitment challenges.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
