Community Nursing Administrative Assistant

Band 3 £28,011 - £30,230 per annum

Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,406 per annum

37 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen with NHS Western Isles, to join the Community Nursing team as an Administration Support Assistant. You will join an established and experienced team, and support the Community Nursing team by undertaking a variety of administrative duties.


You will bring a positive outlook and be responsible for arranging meetings, taking minutes, handling enquiries, processing leave requests and orders, and assisting colleagues on a daily basis. The post is based at the Stornoway Health Centre in Stornoway, although occasional travel to other sites may be required.

This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Western Isles (NHSWI) is unable to provide candidates or employees with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS). Please note the organisation chart presented is indicative and may be subject to change.
