An opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated team of Support Services staff within the Catering Department. We are currently looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to work within Victoria Hospital and Whyteman’s Brae Hospital.

You will have the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers. Experience in a large scale catering environment is essential along with a basic food hygiene certificate. Experience in food regeneration, food presentation and food allergens are desirable. Position will be primarily based in the catering kitchen area where meals are picked and packed for meal service. Other duties will include trolley cleaning and assisting the catering department to ensure ward service goes smoothly.

Post details:
10 hours - Saturday & Sunday – alternative weekends 5 hr shifts
Combination of day shifts and back shifts to support service needs
Earliest start 8am latest start 12 pm with three week rotation

Please note the salary scale for this post is pro rata for part time hours.
