NHS Highland is recruiting an Audiology Clinic Liaison Officer to provide non‑clinical, person‑centred support to people diagnosed with hearing loss.
Based within Audiology clinic settings, the post holder will offer practical and emotional support to patients, help them understand information already provided by clinicians, and support access to Deaf Services, social care, and third‑sector organisations. The role also acts as a key link between patients, Audiology staff, and partner services, helping improve patient experience and clinic flow.

This is a non‑clinical role and does not involve assessment, diagnosis, or treatment.

You should have:
• Experience supporting people with communication or additional needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to provide reassurance to people who may be distressed or overwhelmed
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage a defined workload

Knowledge of hearing loss, audiology services, or community support pathways is desirable.

This part‑time post (18 hours) reflects service demand and offers flexibility and work‑life balance.

This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa.
