An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Oncology Unit Nursing Team to provide Nursing Care to patients undergoing various Cancer treatments and Supportive Care.
Previous experience in Cancer and Palliative Care would be desirable but not essential. Evidence of a high level of clinical expertise and continuing professional development is essential. Education to degree level is also desirable, further study at degree level to complete Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy administration will be expected.
The successful candidate will work within our busy department, with an exceptional multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored care to our patients, excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
The successful candidate will develop leadership and ward management skills to support the oncology department and Specialist Services.
The post holder will be responsible to the Senior Charge Nurse in Oncology
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
