An exciting opportunity is now available to be part of a recently established team delivering care to patients in Ward 4A at Raigmore Hospital.


4A delivers care for patients who are no longer acutely unwell and who are awaiting their discharge, either home with support or to a long term care facility. Patients are mainly elderly however we do care for younger patients from time to time. It is a ward focusing on holistic, enabling care. It is supported by a Senior Charge Nurse, Clinical Nurse Manager and an education team.

  • Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
