An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Officer to join NHS Tayside’s Digital Admin Office.

As a Business Support Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of centralised functions across the Directorate, driving efficiency and cohesion across all the teams.

What we are looking for:

You should have knowledge admin processes, procurement processes, project management processes, excellent communication skills and have capabilities in the following areas:

  • Delivering, improving, interrogating, and monitoring information
  • Project Support duties including ability to record and monitor complex project information
  • Working to deadlines
  • Planning and organising meetings and minute taking
  • Use of Microsoft Office Suite


What we will give you:

The post holders will have a degree of autonomy within their role, reporting to the Strategic Delivery Heads of Service

This is a 1 year fixed term/secondment, full-time post (37 hrs per week) within the Digital Directorate, currently based at MacKenzie Building, Dundee.

We aim to provide an environment that encourages work/life balance and there is some flexibility in team remote working on a partial basis.

Your performance must comply with the national “Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland” 2009; and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
