We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Nurse Manager to join our Mental Health Services in Moray. This is a key leadership role within the Integrated Mental Health Service, providing senior management and professional leadership to nursing across a wide range of services.

The post holder will lead and support nursing teams across:

  • Adult Mental Health (inpatient and community)
  • Older Adult Mental Health (inpatient and community)
  • Drug and Alcohol Services
  • Liaison and Unscheduled Care

This role carries delegated responsibility for specific service areas and a defined portfolio of work, which may include responsibilities extending across NHS Grampian. The post holder will also provide deputy and cross‑cover support for the Lead Nurse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong, visible leadership and professional support to nursing teams across inpatient and community settings.
  • Lead on the delivery of safe, effective, and person‑centred nursing care.
  • Ensure high standards of clinical practice, staff governance, and quality improvement.
  • Contribute to service development, strategic planning, and workforce management.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, partner agencies, and senior managers.
  • Support the Lead Nurse through delegated responsibilities and by providing deputy cover as required.
  • Ensure effective use of resources and support a positive, compassionate team culture.

About You

We are looking for a dynamic and committed senior nurse leader with:

  • Proven leadership and managerial experience in mental health nursing.
  • Strong communication, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, office hours
