Are you ready to take the next step in your specialist nursing career? NHS Fife is seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic and forward thinking Lung Cancer Nursing Team.
Lung cancer remains Scotland’s most commonly diagnosed cancer, with around 5,500 new cases each year. It is also the leading cause of cancer death nationally, representing 24% of all cancer related deaths in Scotland. As demand continues to grow and early diagnosis pathways evolve, this role offers a vital opportunity to shape high quality, person centred care for people affected by lung cancer across Fife.
As an Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a central role in our predominantly nurse led service, providing expert clinical assessment, treatment support, and ongoing care from the point of suspected cancer through the entire diagnostic and treatment journey. Working closely with the wider Lung cancer team, you will contribute to service development, lead outpatient activity, and provide specialist input across both Respiratory and Oncology settings. You will also help ensure seamless community support through structured telephone follow up and nurse led outpatient clinics.
