Quality Coordinator Cancer Services – Band 5
This is a full time, 36 hour position based in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Cancer services based in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary are looking to appoint a replacement for their Quality Coordinator. This is a chance for an individual to build upon their experience in a fast paced and high profile service that represents a key performance area for NHS Grampian.
The Quality Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and management of the Quality Management System within cancer services – Haematology and Oncology. This is an essential role within the team to ensure continued compliance with audit standards in support of the care of cancer patients in specific areas such as stem cell transplantation, CAR-T therapy and safe administration of systemic cancer treatments.
It is a very exciting time within cancer services in NHS Grampian as we move towards the opening of the new purpose built ANCHOR cancer treatment centre in 2026.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting cancer service activity across inpatient and outpatient areas working closely with the cancer service management team and the wider multidisciplinary team.
We are looking to appoint an organised and adaptable individual with experience in understanding and presenting data and working with quality systems. The post will support and encourage a quality and reporting culture within the service.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
