An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Receptionist to join our team at Lochee Medical Practice in Dundee for a fixed term period until 31st March 2027 focussing on supporting the Urgent Care Clinic.
Lochee Medical Practice operates under a 2C arrangement within NHS Tayside, and we are looking to recruit a forward thinking and proactive Receptionist who will work in partnership with the Practice Manager, Administration and Clinical teams.
The ideal candidate will be motivated to provide a full and comprehensive reception, appointments and records service to patients and staff at the practice. You should possess excellent keyboard, organisational and clerical skills. Knowledge of general office duties preferably gained in a health care environment would be preferred, although this is not essential.
It is important that you can work as part of a team and a degree of flexibility will be required with regards to work patterns. It is essential that you enjoy working with the public, have good interpersonal skills and a friendly and welcoming manner. There may be a requirement to work across other 2C practices in Dundee should the need arise.
You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment.
There are two fixed term/secondment posts available, please clearly state on application which post you are applying for.
