The shift pattern for this post is on-call.

This is a permanent post based with the Royal Hospital for Children.

We welcome applications for the post of Consultant Congenital Cardiac Surgeon with the appointment to either a locum or a substantive position within the team.

The successful applicant will join the team of three cardiac surgeons to provide the national congenital cardiac surgical services for Scotland. The applicant is expected to have a broad training and operating experience in both paediatric and adult congenital heart surgery.

Applicants must have full registration with the General Medical Council and a licence to practice. Applicants must possess certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery (FRCS-CTh) or equivalent.
