We are looking to recruit a Receptionist and Administrator to join the Cardiac Physiology Team at NHS Highland. We have a friendly team of Cardiographers, Cardiac Physiologists, Consultant Cardiologists and cardiology specialist Nurses.


Based at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness, you will provide a comprehensive reception and administrative support service for the Cardio-Respiratory service, ensuring systems are accurately maintained We are looking to recruit a Receptionist and Administrator to join the Cardiac Physiology Team at NHS Highland.

We have a friendly team of Cardiographers, Cardiac Physiologists, Consultant Cardiologists and cardiology specialist Nurses. Based at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness, you will provide a comprehensive reception and administrative support service for the Cardio-Respiratory service, ensuring systems are accurately maintained and updated and supporting the efficient running of the department.

Applicants are expected to have a qualification in Medical Secretarial Studies or demonstrable equivalent experience, have excellent organisational and a high level of office practical skills. Proficiency in multiple electronic systems to manage patient information is a requirement of the post, as are well developed skills in Microsoft Office applications for email, diary organisation and letters. You will also need a good level of numeracy and English (written and spoken) and excellent communication skills, ideally with experience of dealing with patients in a caring environment.

Raigmore is a modern District General Hospital with 500 beds and a catchment area of almost 10,000 square miles covering the entire Scottish Highlands.
