We are advertising a permanent post as Principal Clinical/Counselling Psychologist (1.0wte) to join the Psychology service within our Renfrewshire Inpatient Service based at Dykebar Hospital in Paisley. The Inpatient Psychology Service delivers a high quality service to the acute admissions wards at Dykebar Hospital and ward 3B in Leverndale Hospital (temporarily moved to Nairn ward, Stobhill Hospital), as well as to the mental health rehabilitation wards at Dykebar. The Psychology Team currently comprises this post and a full-time Consultant Clinical Psychologist, and works closely with MDT staff across both sites. Applications are invited from Clinical and Counselling Psychologists registered as such with the HCPC, with experience in adult mental health. Experience in an inpatient setting is desirable.

The successful candidate will join the wider Renfrewshire Psychology service comprising staff in both our local CMHTs, and be linked to our developing psychology service in Inpatient Services in Inverclyde. The postholder will be well supported as part of the Clyde-wide Psychology staffing, and have access to a range of professional development and CPD opportunities.
