Full Time - 36 hours per week
Band 5 - Salary Range £34,544 - £43,039 per annum
Distant Islands Allowance of £2,578 per annum
(Salary and Distant Islands Allowance as of 1 April 2026)
This exciting role will allow the successful applicant to work alongside the Oncology & Palliative nursing team in the delivery of care across NHS Shetland. The post holder will be required to undertake training to achieve Post Graduate Chemotherapy Course if not already held. They will assist in the day to day running of the chemotherapy unit and tasks as delegated by The Clinical Nurse Specialists.
We are seeking a nurse who is enthusiastic and committed. You will have excellent communication, organisation and teaching skills, together with a keenness to bring new ideas to the service. The ability to work autonomously and within the multidisciplinary team setting is essential for this post. There will be a good opportunity for career progression within this speciality.
