The role would primarily be community rehabilitation both in the hospital and in the client’s own home, working under the direction of the physiotherapists.

This is a hands-on post and you would be working with a range of patients with a number of different medical conditions.

You would be expected to carry out mandatory training including how to move and handle patients.

Training would include SVQ’s or HNC’s and any qualifications in this sector would be an advantage on application.

There will be some administrative tasks and tasks will be delegated to you by the qualified physiotherapists and AHP Team Lead.

The role would include the ability to assess, monitor and refine treatment programs. Ross Memorial Hospital have a small AHP team of physiotherapists and occupational therapists and the candidate would have to have a degree of flexibility towards working.

You should have good communications skills, be a team player and have a flexible approach to your work. A sensitive and compassionate manner is essential to provide a good service to patients.

Full driving license and use of a car for work purposes is essential.
