We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) registered Pharmacy Technician to join our expanding Primary Care Pharmacotherapy Team within the Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership (ACHSCP). The successful candidate will be employed to work within the bounds of Aberdeen City and specific practices/locations may be subject to change.

You will work closely with pharmacy colleagues to support the delivery of the pharmacotherapy service outlined in the 2018 GMS Contract for Scotland. The role will include activities such as medication compliance reviews, dealing with pharmaceutical queries (e.g. shortages), medicines reconciliation and medication management advice for patients and carers. You will also work on various aspects of medicines management to ensure safe and effective use of medicines in line with local and national guidelines, including formulary adherence and review of prescribing data.

You may come from a primary care, community or hospital pharmacy background; however, current registration with the GPhC is essential. Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential. Full driving license and use of a car is essential. Some locations you may be asked to work in fall within the Aberdeen City Low Emission Zone. If you enter the LEZ in a non-compliant car, you will be responsible for all costs associated with entering the LEZ.

This position is a full time role (36 hours per week) but four days (28.8 hours) may be considered.
