An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Link Worker to join the Mental Health Improvement & Wellbeing Service (MHIWS), delivering community‑based mental health support across South Aberdeenshire.

The post holder will work directly with individuals to promote mental health and wellbeing, providing person‑centred, recovery‑focused support and facilitating access to appropriate community resources. Experience of working in community mental health settings is essential.

Applicants must be computer literate, able to manage electronic records and digital systems, and be flexible to work across a range of community locations. A full driving licence, access to personal transport, and the ability to travel independently across South Aberdeenshire are required.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
