The role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse to be involved in the development and provision of Community Treatment and Care Services within East Dunbartonshire HSCP.
Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:
- This is a full time position
- The shift pattern for this post are Monday-Friday, 0830-1630.
- This post will be based within East Dunbartonshire HSCP
Key responsibilities:
The post holder will provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive and effective nursing service to all age groups within the treatment room setting whilst working in partnership with other members of the primary health care team and service users.
The post holder will function as an independent autonomous practitioner by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience and/or lead and enable the treatment room nursing team to provide a quality nursing service.
Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job: Part 1 NMC Registration with relevant nursing experience
- Evidence of professional development; Evidence of revalidation
- IT skills; Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Leadership skills
- Problem solving skills
- Car user
