Full-time – 36 hrs per week various start and finish times
Band 2 - Salary Range £26,696 - £28,988 per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2,578 per annum
We are looking to recruit to the Hotel Services Department, Generic Support Workers.
The purpose of these roles is to maintain a clean, safe working environment for all areas of NHS Shetland in line with NHS Scotland national standards. You will be one of a team of staff providing Cleaning, Catering & Laundry services. The post involves flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Night and weekend working will attract the appropriate enhanced pay rates.
We are looking for candidates with good communication skills who are able to work flexibly under pressure. Initial training and induction takes place in the first few days of starting post, then support from other colleagues will be provided until the new post holder is fully competent in all areas of work, there relevant paper work and procedures. A driving licence is essential as you may be required to cover areas out with the Hospital.
