Summer Student Clinical Governance
Band 2 £26,969 to £28,988 pro rata
Plus £1461 Distant Islands Allowance pro rata
20 hours per week
Fixed Term Contract for Summer up to 4 months

The Clinical Governance Department supports clinical teams to deliver high‑quality, safe and effective patient care. The team is responsible for a range of key functions, including risk management, quality improvement, and patient and public involvement, helping to ensure that high standards of care are consistently maintained and enhanced across the organisation.
We require a summer student to assist the Clinical Governance Team with a range of tasks that will include:
- Project support for Patient Focus and Public Involvement
- Administrative tasks to assist with events
- Administrative tasks to support meetings
- Scanning and photocopying documents
- Assist with creating leaflets and other documents.
The placement would be suitable for those that are studying administration, business or project management related subjects. You must have good IT skills and experience in the use of Microsoft Word. You will need excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner. It is essential that you can maintain confidentiality as you may be dealing with sensitive, personal information.
