PERMANENT – Full time 36 hours per week (Part time hours will be considered)
We are seeking to recruit a Pharmacy Technician/Senior Pharmacy to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Pharmacy team.
We are keen to hear from Pharmacy Technicians who:
- Have experience and a genuine interest in working with people and their families and carers to support their mental health care and treatment.
- Have an interest in working within multi-professional teams to deliver the best possible outcomes for individuals, and
- Are interested in playing a role in developing new service models of pharmaceutical care delivery within a fast paced and sometimes challenging environment
As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team the post-holder will be involved in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of person-centred care for individuals within the Tayside to ensure that patients have the maximum benefit and minimal risk from their prescribed medication.
The role requires you to be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and to either hold a recognised accuracy checking qualification or be willing to work towards this.
There may be a requirement to contribute to working within the hospital setting, weekends and public holiday rotas as per service requirement.
