The Role
Working as part of Catering team to deliver of a range of food and beverages in line with Food Hygiene legislation and NHS Lanarkshire policies and procedures to meet the nutritional needs of Patients, Staff, and users of NHS Lanarkshire services.
To work alongside and support new staff in the working environment.
The working pattern for this role is 5 days over 7. 36 hrs over 7 days early and late shifts , latest close 8pm.
In this key role, you will:
- Over seeing the smooth daily running of Patient feeding and Public/staff restaurant.
- Staff training.
- Completing staff rota /AL allocation.
- Banking / cash handling.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience working in a busy Catering environment.
- Training and or qualifications required: Numerate, literate and practical.
- Health and Safety
- COSHH.
From 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will reduce from 37 hours to 36 hours. Part-time working hours will be reduced on a pro-rata basis. A corresponding increase in the hourly rate will apply, ensuring that overall pay remains unchanged.
