An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Patient Flow Team at Raigmore Hospital, the largest acute hospital in the Highlands. This Band 6 post covers both medical and surgical flow, supporting the daily management of proactive patient flow through Raigmore Hospital by maximising the effective use of beds and balancing the needs of emergency and elective admissions. As a Patient Flow Coordinator, you will: · Work closely with Theatres, clinical teams, and Discharge Liaison Nurse colleagues to provide reliable, consistent information to the Patient Flow Manager and Senior Operational Management Team.


· Play a key role in ensuring seamless admissions and discharges, helping to maintain high standards of patient care across the hospital. · Be part of a friendly and supportive team. · Work a rota that covers 7 days, providing a 24-hour service.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES

  • Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
