Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Pharmacist within our CAMHS Department based at West Road Centre, Irvine / Woodland View.
Hours:
36 hours per week - This post is offered on a permanent basis.

What you will do:
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced pharmacist to participate in the provision of high quality pharmaceutical care to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services across NHS Ayrshire & Arran. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and highly motivated multidisciplinary team including a full range of healthcare professionals.
We require an enthusiastic, self-motivated and innovative clinical pharmacist to develop and support the CAMHS pharmaceutical service across NHS Ayrshire & Arran. You should possess a desire to drive forward and actively contribute to the transformation of Mental Health Pharmacy Services within Ayrshire & Arran.
You will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team and be responsible for delivering a clinical pharmacy service to patients accessing care within CAMHS in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
You will use and develop your clinical expertise (including independent prescribing where applicable), including having an outpatient clinical commitment working with a cohort of patients as part of a multidisciplinary practice team.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You require clinical expertise, excellent communication, organisational and IT skills along with the ability to work with patients and other healthcare professionals.
You will be a qualified pharmacist with RPS Post-Registration Foundation Pharmacist Credentialing or evidence of equivalent experience. You should have proven clinical skills. A qualification as a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber (or working towards that) is desirable, as is a relevant postgraduate qualification.
You should hold membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council. Additionally you should demonstrate a commitment to Continuous Professional Development.
