Do you bring senior clinical leadership in Public Protection and Children’s Health Services? Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) seeks a leader to provide corporate Public Protection leadership (children and adults), national representation, and assurance/improvement across our Public Protection & Child Health portfolio—including expert input to inspection programs and multi-agency collaborations.
You will shape and deliver HIS’s Public Protection strategy, strengthen mandatory training, trauma informed practice, clinical supervision, represent HIS at national forums and SLWGs (Prevent, Gender Based Violence, UNCRC/The Promise, Care Experienced Health Assessments), and contribute to inspections, policy and methodology development.
HIS drives improvement and provides independent assurance across health and social care in Scotland. This role matters because it safeguards vulnerable children and adults while integrating Public Protection across HIS programs.
